Putting a company into liquidation is not a decision that many small business owners would ever wish to take, and it is not always possible to work through the options either alone or with family and friends. In my case, my business had accumulated debts through Covid, and when I found myself trying to help my wife through a major health scare, I could no longer see a way forward.
