I had spoken to several liquidation practitioners on my build up to business insolvency. Unfortunately, after working hard on building a business from scratch, I found myself through various personal challenges, covid, cost of living and personal injury to name a few, in a position where I had no choice but to consider folding my business. As a typical business owner and someone who seemed to manage through thick and thin, I struggled to let go of the control, however I came across Janet at Griffin and King. We spoke several times and I felt comfortable that she understood my issues. I had quotes from other companies, some were ridiculous, some competitive. However, I chose to appoint Janet. She was patient caring and empathetic. It was an absolute killer trying to find the funds to pay for insolvency and somewhat of a struggle. It seemed impossible at times, but ultimately you pay for someone to take that terrible burden and that weight of your shoulders. I’m not going to lie, this has been one of the most difficult things I have faced, but in hindsight one of the best. I would email Janet my concerns at all times of the day due to lack of sleep and worry, but she was always prompt and precise with responses.

The process hasn’t quite nor completely ended but I am finally happy with my decision and my appointment with Griffin and King.
