Holiday Firm Begins to Wind up Affairs

The travel company, Lowcost Travel, which called in the Administrators on Friday night will formally liquidate its main holiday business as early as next week. Although talks are ongoing to sell some of its assets.

The travel company which mainly sold package holidays to European destinations has put approximately 110,000 holidaymakers’ plans in jeopardy.

The company, which had a turnover of £500m last year, blamed the recent turbulence caused by Brexit and the plunging value of the pound.
